Three Cheese Mac & Cheese

Instructions

  • Stack the Arla Havarti, Gouda and Muenster cheese slices and cut into small square pieces.
  • To a large pot add the elbow macaroni and whole milk. Bring to a simmer and stir frequently until the macaroni is tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Next, lower the heat to low and add the Arla cheese pieces (reserving about 1 cup), the butter, mustard and season with salt and ground black pepper. Stir to combine until the cheese has melted and the mixture is creamy and thick.
  • Grease a large baking dish with butter then add the mac and cheese, spread out evenly and sprinkle with the remaining Arla cheese pieces.
  • Broil the mac and cheese until the cheese on top is melted and golden brown, about 5-8 minutes.
