
Mac and cheese
Ingredients
- 2 cups macaroni noodles
- 1½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup cream
- ½ cup vegetable broth
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 cups Arla® Mild Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- ¼ cup freshly chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

Preheat oven to 400 °F. Boil water, then add pasta and cook until al dente (as indicated on packaging) while making cheese sauce. In a pot over medium heat, stir the flour into the milk. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Add cream, broth and pepper. Let the sauce cook for 1-2 minutes, being sure to stir constantly. Stir in the macaroni and most of the cheese. Pour it all into a greased oven-proof form. Top with parsley, bread crumbs and the remaining cheese. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes.
