This dressed-up grilled cheese is a perfect early fall meal! Tart and sweet cranberries complement Arla® Havarti sliced cheese in this re-imagining of a lunchtime classic.

  • ⅛ cups olive oil
  • 8 slices whole grain cranberry bread
  • 8 slices Arla® Havarti Cheese
  • 2 thinly sliced ripe tomatoes
  • 12 fresh basil leaves

Set skillet to medium heat. Brush each slice of bread with olive oil and place four slices, oil side down, on the skillet. Top bread slice with a slice of cheese, tomato, three basil leaves and a second slice of cheese. Place another piece of bread on top, oil side up. Cook sandwiches slowly until the bread browns and cheese begins to melt, about 3 minutes. Turn sandwiches over and cook until the bread browns, about 2 minutes. Remove from the skillet, cut sandwiches in half, and enjoy!
