Arla® Dofino® Creamy Havarti tops this holiday feast of layered sausage, egg and potatoes. Make it the day before, bake it in the morning and enjoy it for a perfect holiday brunch.

  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausages
  • 1 cup thinly sliced scallions
  • 3 cups peeled Idaho potatoes cut into 1-inch pieces diced and cooked
  • 3 cups shredded Arla® Dofino® Creamy Havarti Chunk
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 375°F. Brown the sausage and scallions in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain off excess liquid. In a casserole dish, layer the potatoes, sausage mixture and cheese. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper, pour into casserole. Bake the casserole until the custard sets, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
